I’m looking for the military service records of six men that served in the Union Army during the Civil War. These men were from three different countries and were more than likely yanked off the boat and handed rifles before even becoming citizens through typical means, just a quick oath and a march off to war.

Does anyone have a notion where I might be able to find any records of immigrants put in the service then?

The men were executed in Andersonville prison in 1864, convicted by a trial and jury of their fellow prisoners under the permission of Captain Wirz.

If anyone knows how to even start me out on a lead of finding any of their surviving or distant relatives I’d appreciate it.

Please note: I have their names and the journaled account of the trial and execution. I am looking for LEGAL GOVERNMENT papers with their names, counties of origin in their native countries (Ireland, Canada and England) and the names of any relaitves that might have been listed as next of kin

She is a professional with a BA
His father is in the us military with a high security clearance
He will be adopting her son officially
He is willing to do whatever the Australian authorities require him to do such as reporting to someone on a regular basis, submitting fingerprints etc etc for australian records

If anyone can help me out with an answer to this Id appreciate it

Also, what are his chances of being allowed to visit for 3 months prior to trying to officially immigrate??

Anyways he has to be in prison for 18 months because he cut the barrel of a gun 1/4 of an inch to short. He done it to kill possums they was getting his chickens. It was a very sad deal for my whole family and his poor wife.He sawed off the barrel so he could shoot out of his window and not go outside and scare them off. I am with this guy for almost 2 years now and he was really nice to me. He told me he had done something in the past theft and burglary when he was 18 and it was with his friends. He had 3 years in prison for that. He comes with with all these alibis and tells me it was just all in his past and a mistake. Then there’s this trespassing and he said when he was like 14 he had sex with this girl (30ish) but it was with consent but somehow he was charged for it because she claimed she was mentally challenged or something. I really don’t know what to do with him, he treats me really nice and gives me whatever i need and takes good care of me. But somehow i’m scared that he’s just doing all these nice things so i won’t leave. Is there anyway I can find out about ALL his records just to verify if he’s even telling me the truth??

Also, he has difficulty finding a job but he’s trying to get back to school to be a fire fighter. Does he even have a shot at getting that kind of job?

I work in a home with 2 mental retarted men. One, whose name is Paul, said that he was in prison for 14 years for raping a girl, but he claims he didnt rape her, just got blamed. This guy use to not be retarted. He supposely got hit in the head with a glass bottle and it messed his brain up. Well the people I work for claim that they dont know what he was in prison for but on his paperwork it saids that he was in prison for 9 years. I looked on the sex offenders web site and he isnt on it. I dont know if noone has registered him or he is just lying about what he was in prison for. I sit alone all nite with this guy by myself and he is scary. I have his social security # but the only web site I can find that might tell me something wants to charge me money. Is there anyone out there that can help me find information on this guy, like maybe a policeman that has access to police records? If so please let me know how or if u can get this information for me. Thank you

Hello there,

Here is the situation: Earlier this year i was sent to jail for 6 months for organizing poker games,where actually 4 ppl were involved, but only me and my friend served ( We raked, but still 6 months was way too much since we didn’t even open every day). Now i am out, and just found this great job. Pay is good and they seem to need me. There is no one else who can do the job they hired me for. So it is a unique situation.

I start working next week, but when i come to sign the contract, they will need my passport in order to give me VISA. I am not sure if it will show up my criminal record, but if it does…

1- how to explain
2- I heard that in US companies won’t hire people with criminal records. I am in Asia though..working for an international company…If you are the boss and upon knowing abt this, would you understand that all i wanted was to organize some fun poker tournaments?
3-I didn’t kill anyone, nor sell drugs or commited fraud. But on the company’s eyes, having being in jail (for poker) counts the same way?

Any constructive opinion is wellcome…I am just trying to get my life str8 back to place..Has anyone being in similar spot?
